  1. Today, our interfaith group in Madison watched a sad documentary of how the US government and army treated the Navaho Nation in the 19th century. Of course with a history of slavery, forcing people from Africa, most, Muslims and Animists to be Christian, we continue to this day as our Republican wing-nuts attack a foundation of our history of welcoming people of this world to our shores. The use of drones, the NSA story recently, the lack of gun control, the attack on our rights, the list goes one.
How does our spiritual practice address these issues not to have a nice conversation or a work shop, but to radically transform and change this nation and world?

Now I invite you with me, to spend 56 minutes to see and hear what has happened in Tibet, relative to people offering their lives as a protest. We have done very little to speak to this oppression, and continue to walk with soft steps with China and its leaders. See the news from the meeting of the leaders of our government and the Chinese leaders. no challenge was made about Tibet....maybe a few words. We seem to be more interested in internet issues and money than human rights and freedom for all beings. Peace, deep bows of compassion for all beings....ko shin
